Steeles Removals - Covid-19 safe

Safe home removals procedures are now in place and it is still possible to move home during lockdown

Removals services – business as usual during in lockdown

New national lockdown restrictions were announced on 4th January 2021. However renters and homeowners can continue to move house during this period.

Here’s an extract from the latest government guidance document for England.

“You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary.
Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings.
Follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face covering.”

We are continuing to provide a full range of  removal services and are following current advice from the World Health Organisation, the National Health Service and Public Health England, to prevent the spread of infection.

We have carried out all appropriate risk assessments and have safe systems of work in place to ensure the safety of our customers and removals teams.

If you are planning a house move, bookings are now being taken subject to certain conditions being met, which we will discuss with you as part of the planning and quotation process.
